Return, Shipping & Membership Policy

Shipping
Orders are processed within 1–3 business days, excluding weekends and U.S. public holidays.
Standard delivery within the United States typically takes 3–7 business days.
For international destinations, delivery times vary by location and carrier. Estimated delivery details will be shown at checkout when available.
Estimated delivery times are provided by carriers. Delays caused by carriers, weather conditions, remote-area service limitations, carrier capacity, customs clearance (if applicable), or other circumstances beyond our control do not qualify for immediate refunds or cancellations.
If a shipment is refused or returned to sender, a refund may be issued minus shipping and return-to-sender fees, where applicable.
Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on order weight, size, and destination. Shipping surcharges may apply to certain items and are independent of free shipping thresholds.
Returns
Due to the nature of aromatic, personal care, and hygiene-related products, returns are accepted only under limited circumstances.
- Items damaged during transit
- Incorrect items received
- Clear manufacturing defects
For damaged, incorrect, or defective items, return requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery and must include a valid order number as well as clear photos of the product and original packaging.
Requests submitted outside of this timeframe or without sufficient documentation may not be accepted.

Refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days after we receive and inspect returned items (refunds will be issued to the original payment method).
Change-of-Mind Returns (Unopened Items)
Unopened and unused items in original condition may be eligible for return within 14 days of delivery.
For change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

Returns and Exchanges: Essential Oils and Candles
Essential Oils
Essential oils are highly concentrated botanical extracts. Once opened, they are exposed to air, light, and handling, which can compromise their purity and aroma profile over time.
For hygiene and quality assurance reasons, opened essential oils cannot be resold or restocked. Please note that scent perception is subjective and does not constitute a product defect.
All essential oils are final sale once opened.
Candles
Once a candle has been lit or warmed, the wax surface, wick structure, and scent throw are permanently altered. Even brief use makes the product unsuitable for resale.
As fragrance performance can vary based on room size, airflow, and burn habits, these variations do not constitute manufacturing defects.

Product-Specific Return Exceptions
- Candles: Final sale once lit, used, or tested.
- Essential Oils: Final sale once opened.
- Liquid Soap / Hand Care / Body Care: Final sale once opened or used.
- Hair & Wash Bars: Final sale once exposed to water or used.
- Lip Care: Final sale once opened for hygiene and safety reasons.
- Diffusers / Home Care: Eligible for return only if unused, unopened, and in original condition. Return requests must be submitted within 14 days of delivery and approved by Aromu.
- Gift Sets: If any item within a set has been opened or used, the entire set is considered final sale.
Membership
Aromu membership is free and optional. Members may enjoy a lower free shipping threshold, priority review of eligible return requests (typically within 1–3 business days), and access to member-only promotions.
Membership benefits do not override final sale rules or return eligibility criteria.
Aromu reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership privileges in cases of abuse of return, shipping, or promotional policies.
